Plans aren't enforced yet.
Until billing ships, every account runs on the free tier's limits and nobody is charged. These are the prices we intend to charge — published early so you can plan against them.

The rules, before you have to discover them from an invoice.
1 call = 1
One render, one webshot
One image produced by one call — whatever the format, full page or not, however long the page took.

Failures are free
A page that will not load, a timeout, a refused address, a 503 from us: none are billed. You pay for pictures, not attempts.
retry
A retry is a new webshot
It is another Chrome tab. Retrying often usually means a page that needs a different wait, not a bigger plan.
GET
Reading is free
Fetching a stored image again, polling a status or reading your request history costs nothing.
overage
Overage, not a wall
Going over never switches the API off mid-pipeline. You are told, and billed at the plan rate; a spend cap comes with billing.

Kept until you delete them
Stored images stay until you remove them. Renders you streamed and never stored are never kept at all.

Is the free plan a trial?
No. It does not expire and it does not ask for a card.
What happens when I upgrade mid-month?
The new allowance applies immediately and you pay the difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at the end of it.
Is there an annual price?
Not yet. When there is, it will be the usual two months off — and it will not be the only way to get a feature.
How do seats work?
A seat is a person who can sign in to the team. API keys are not seats — have as many as you want on any plan.
Can I get a refund?
If something we did lost you renders, yes, and you should not have to argue for it. Email support@webshotter.com.
